As a Peer Counselor for OSFAS, I formed part of their Social Media Team. I created social media graphics and copy for the office’s social media accounts across various platforms in both English and Spanish. These posts primarily include deadline reminders and important financial aid information.

OSFAS’s social media platforms play a vital role in keeping University of Oregon students and their families informed about essential financial aid information. This includes important deadlines, announcements, and opportunities for scholarships and financial assistance. Through our posts, we aim to present clear, relevant, and accessible information while maintaining a welcoming and approachable tone that aligns with the university’s standards.

My Work

I created this graphic to wish University of Oregon students luck during finals week while also reminding them about the FAFSA deadline and encouraging them to submit their application on time.

This graphic communicates the importance of the fall census date and explains how enrollment changes can impact a student’s financial aid eligibility.

This post was designed to remind students about the upcoming FAFSA priority deadline and encourage early submission so they can maximize their eligibility for financial aid opportunities.

This post encourages students to check their fall term bill through DuckWeb while also emphasizing that completing the FAFSA is the first step toward receiving financial aid.
